Arden University Discount £500: Reduce Your Tuition Fees
Arden University Discount £500: How I Saved £500 on My Tuition Fees
Let’s be honest – studying isn’t cheap.
When I decided to go back to university, one of the biggest questions I kept asking myself was, “How am I actually going to afford this?” Tuition fees are a huge investment, and every little saving makes a difference. That’s why finding an Arden University discount before I applied became so important to me.
That’s exactly why I wanted to write this article.
I’m currently studying MSc Psychology by Distance Learning at Arden University, and before I even submitted my application, I discovered a simple way to reduce my tuition fees by £500.
I followed the process, started my degree, completed my first two study blocks, passed my assignments, and not long afterwards, my tuition fees were reduced by £500.
It didn’t happen overnight, but seeing that £500 come off my fees was a great feeling.
Since then, I’ve spoken to several people who had no idea this was possible. Some even found out after they had already applied, which, unfortunately, was too late.
I don’t want that to happen to you.
Before You Apply… Read This – Arden University discount
This is the most important part of the whole article.
You need to complete one simple step before submitting your Arden University application.
If you apply first and only then start looking for ways to reduce your tuition fees, you may miss the opportunity completely.
So, if you’re still comparing universities or thinking about applying, you’re reading this at exactly the right time.
Here’s Exactly What You Need To Do – Arden University discount
Step 1
Get in touch with me through info@journeyjoy.org before you apply. Just send an email with ARDEN in the subject.
Step 2
I’ll send you everything you need to complete the process.
This includes a ready-made email template that you simply need to copy, paste, and complete with your own details (such as your name and course information).
I’ll also provide the correct university email address where you need to send it.
It only takes a couple of minutes, but the important thing is to complete this step before you apply to Arden University.
Step 3 – Arden University discount
Once that’s done, you can submit your Arden University application as normal.
Step 4
Focus on your studies.
After completing your first two study blocks and meeting Arden University’s requirements, your £500 tuition fee reduction should be processed.
That’s exactly how it worked for me.
Step 5 – Arden University discount
Once you’ve completed your second study block, send a short follow-up email to the same Arden University email address you used in Step 2.
This is simply a friendly reminder that you’ve now completed the required study period and would like your £500 tuition fee reduction to be processed.
In my case, the reduction wasn’t applied automatically straight away. After I sent a quick reminder, it was added to my tuition fees shortly afterwards.
It only takes a minute to send, and based on my experience, it’s a step that’s well worth taking.
One Thing You Should Know – Arden University discount
I want to be completely honest with you. This is not an instant saving that appears as soon as you enrol.
You need to complete your first two study blocks and meet Arden University’s requirements before the £500 tuition fee reduction can be processed. For me, it was absolutely worth the wait.
My thinking was simple: I would rather save £500 later than miss the opportunity.
Bonus Tip: You Might Be Able to Save Even More
Before applying, it is always worth checking all available Arden University tuition fee discounts.
Depending on your circumstances, you may also be eligible for other discounts. For example, I qualified for the Postgraduate Learning Offer, which reduced my tuition fees by £1,500 before I started my degree.
On top of that, I was also able to receive my £500 tuition fee reduction after successfully completing my first two study blocks.
If you decide to study in one of Arden University’s European locations, the equivalent saving may be €500 instead of £500, depending on the programme and your eligibility.
Always check the latest Terms and Conditions and available discounts before applying.
Please remember that if you are eligible for more than one tuition fee discount at the start of your course, Arden University may apply the most valuable eligible discount according to its rules. The £500 tuition fee reduction has its own eligibility requirements and is processed after the required study period.

Why Am I Sharing This? – Arden University discount
I am not writing this because I work for Arden University – I don’t.
I am writing this because I am a student just like you.
Knowing how stressful it can be trying to find the money for university, and if sharing my experience helps someone else make their studies a little more affordable, then it is worth sharing.
To be completely transparent, if you successfully enrol and meet Arden University’s eligibility requirements, I may also receive a tuition fee reduction towards my own degree. It doesn’t cost you anything extra, and it doesn’t reduce the £500 tuition fee reduction you may be eligible for. We both benefit, which I believe is a great example of students helping each other.
However, saving money is only one part of choosing a university.
The cost is important, but the actual learning experience matters even more. That’s why, as someone currently studying at Arden University, I also want to share my honest thoughts about what distance learning is really like – the flexibility, the support, the challenges, and the things I wish I had known before starting my own journey.
What Is Studying at Arden University Distance Learning Really Like
The Biggest Surprise: You Can Really Study When You Want ✅
One of the biggest surprises for me was how flexible distance learning at Arden University really is.
And when I say flexible, I mean it.
You do not have to attend live sessions if you cannot make them.
Every live class is recorded, so you can choose what works best for you. You can join the session online, ask questions in real time, and interact with your lecturer. Or you can watch the recording later when you have time.
This flexibility has been one of the biggest benefits for me. It allows me to fit my studies around my life instead of changing my whole life around university.
You Get More Than Just Live Classes ✅
The live sessions are only one part of the learning experience.
As a student, you have access to many other resources to support your studies.
These include:
- lecture presentations,
- recommended reading materials,
- online library resources,
- discussion forums,
- and other materials available through the learning platform.
I personally find that having different ways to learn is very helpful. Sometimes I learn best by watching a session, and other times I prefer reading materials at my own pace.
MSc Psychology studies are BPS accredited ✅
One of the things I considered before choosing Arden University was whether the Psychology programme was professionally recognised.
The MSc Psychology programme is accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS), which was an important factor for me when making my decision.
But why does BPS accreditation matter?
The British Psychological Society (BPS) is the professional body for psychologists in the UK. BPS accreditation shows that a Psychology course meets recognised standards and follows the expected quality requirements for the field.
For students, this can provide extra confidence that the programme covers important areas of Psychology and follows the expected academic standards.
If you are thinking about continuing your Psychology journey after graduation, having a BPS-accredited degree can also be an important step towards further professional development within the field.
Support From Your Lecturers ✅
One thing I really appreciate is that you are not left alone with your studies.
If you have questions about a module, you can contact your lecturer through the module inbox. You can also book a one-to-one meeting if you need more personal support or want to discuss something in more detail.
For me, knowing that help is available makes a big difference. Distance learning gives you flexibility, but you still have people supporting you along the way.
Extra Resources That Help You Grow ✅
Apart from the academic support, Arden University also provides extra resources that can help you during your studies and beyond.
Personally, I really value the Enterprise Hub because it provides useful support and guidance for developing skills beyond your degree.
I also find resources like the English Language Hub very useful. This can be especially helpful if English is not your first language and you want extra support with academic writing, communication, or confidence.
Another resource worth mentioning is Pass First Time Distance Learning, which focuses on helping students succeed with their assignments and studies.
For me, these extra resources show that studying online is not only about completing modules. It is also about developing skills, gaining confidence, and having support throughout your journey.
First Disappointment: Starting Psychology With Research Methods ⚠️
My first surprise was that my MSc Psychology journey started with Research Methods.
When I chose Psychology, I was excited to learn about the human mind, behaviour, and why people think and act the way they do. Instead, the first module focused mainly on statistics and analysing data.
I understand why this subject is important. Psychology is a science, and learning how to use tools such as SPSS (or Jamovi) and conduct different analyses is a valuable skill.
However, I have to admit it was not what I expected at the beginning. I was more interested in understanding people than working with numbers.
Luckily, after completing this first module, we moved on to subjects like Social Psychology and Behavioural Neuroscience, which I personally found much more interesting and closer to what I expected from a Psychology degree.
Access to Completed Modules ⚠️
One thing I noticed during my studies is that after completing a module, I no longer seem to have access to all of the previous module materials.
For many students, this may not be a big issue. However, I think it would be useful to keep access to past modules, especially for people who enjoy going back, revisiting topics, or exploring a subject in more depth.
Psychology is a subject where you often want to connect ideas from different areas, so having the option to return to previous materials would be a valuable addition.
Something to Consider: Planning Your One-to-One Support ⚠️
One thing I noticed is that one-to-one support sessions can become limited when assignment deadlines are approaching.
When I wanted to book a one-to-one meeting to discuss my Social Psychology assignment, I found that the available dates and times were quite limited.
My advice is to book these sessions early if you know you will need extra guidance. The closer you get to the deadline, the fewer available slots there may be.
If you cannot find a suitable time, you can also contact your module inbox and ask about alternative support options. I have not personally tried this yet, but it is good to know that this option is available.

Final Thoughts – Arden University discount
Looking back at my journey so far, I realise that starting a degree is about much more than simply gaining a qualification.
It is about challenging yourself, learning something new, and proving to yourself that it is never too late to take a different path.
Studying Psychology has already taught me a lot – not only through the subjects I study, but also through the process of becoming a student again. It has required patience, discipline, and the willingness to keep going even when some parts feel challenging.
Distance learning is not perfect, and it requires commitment and self-motivation. However, it also offers something very valuable: the freedom to learn in a way that fits around your life.
For me, choosing Arden University was a step towards investing in myself and continuing my personal growth. Every module, every assignment, and every new challenge adds another piece to the journey.
And perhaps that is the most important lesson I have learned so far – learning does not have to stop at a certain age or stage of life. There is always room to grow, explore new ideas, and discover something new about yourself.
